Comment on: Long-term Impact of Immediate Versus Delayed Treatment of Early Glaucoma: Results From the Early Manifest Glaucoma Trial

We read the study by Heijl et al.,1 in which they assessed the long-term visual outcomes of immediate versus delayed treatment in the two arms of Early Manifest Glaucoma Trial. They concluded that delaying treatment did not result in serious penalties in terms of glaucoma-induced visual impairment between the two groups (immediate treatment and no initial treatment).1
