LB1791 Oleogel-S10 (birch bark extract) in dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa: A case series evaluating the impact on wound burden over 2 years

Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a devastating group of rare, inherited diseases affecting epithelial integrity that results in tears, sores, blisters and debilitating wounds. Impaired wound healing is central and can lead to serious clinical complications, deformities, and symptoms with a devastating impact on QoL. The Phase 3 EASE study previously demonstrated that Oleogel-S10 accelerated wound healing and reduced wound burden in EB. This is the first report to evaluate the effectiveness of Oleogel-S10 in clinical practice.
