Meibomian gland dysfunction and blepharitis – common and still unsolved ophthalmic problem

Blepharitis and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) are very common, usually under-diagnosed and under-appreciated diseases. More than 50% of patients seeking ophthalmological consultations have symptoms and signs indicating one or both entities.
