Analysis of Twitter conversations in obstetric anesthesiology using the hashtag #OBAnes during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic

Social media is increasingly being used in medicine as a communication tool, allowing for large global networks to share new knowledge and promote discussion.1 In anesthesiology, social media use has grown by approximately 8% per year, and the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated social media use given the demand for rapid dissemination of information.2
