Gingival health changes around temporary anchorage devices during COVID-19 quarantine – A longitudinal controlled report

The recent emergence and widespread infectious propensities of COVID-19 are regarded as global concerns by governments and public health organizations1. On February 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global pandemic following a thorough assessment of its risk to public health after a sharp spike in acute infections 2. As a consequence, many countries initiated quarantine procedures whereby four billion people are estimated to have undergone quarantine or experienced lockdown restrictions around the world 3.
