Annular dermatoses with rheumatological implications

A wide variety of cutaneous disorders present with annular (ring-like) skin lesions and some of them carry a rheumatological implications as they may involve the joints or belong to the spectrum of connective tissue diseases. The diagnosis of an annular rheumatological skin diseases is possible with a correct clinical-pathological correlation that it provides anamnesis of the patient, systemic symptoms, laboratory and instrumental investigations and cutaneous biopsy.
