A Journey Through My First Year as an APRN

Picture it. You just graduated. Congratulations and enjoy the day! This is your day! You have worked hours upon hours to reach this moment! You have planned and organized minutes within days, days within weeks, and weeks within months, and here you are. Dinner out with friends and family to celebrate your achievement (and their support and help) includes high fives, hugs, smiles, and well wishes, everything you would expect from a very, very joyous occasion. Afterward, you take a week off to get your bearings and somewhat recover from the shock of the fact that you just graduated from your program.
