Sir — We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Mistry's paper entitled: ‘Radiosensitivity index is not fit to be used for dose adjustments: a pan-cancer analysis’ [1]. The topic raised is an important one. However, we feel the conclusion is not warranted given the experiments performed. We addr ess each of the author's conclusions below.
