386 Association between lichen sclerosus, and atopic dermatitis: A cross-sectional study in adults with atopic dermatitis

Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is a pruritic inflammatory skin condition that frequently occurs in childhood and is also highly prevalent in adults. AD has been associated with a number of comorbid diseases including atopic and non-atopic conditions. Lichen sclerosus (LS) is a chronic, inflammatory skin disorder that can result in permanent scarring and has been previously reported to be associated with AD. However, the nature of this association has not been well characterized. The purpose of this study was to explore the association between AD and LS in patients with AD.vWe performed a single-center, retrospective chart review of patients (18 years of age and older) with a physician confirmed diagnosis of AD.
