JAMA Otolaryngology –Head & amp; Neck Surgery —The Year in Review, 2022

This past year witnessed the country and the world begin to return to prepandemic normal as the number of people who returned to in-person work and school increased, and travel for business and leisure exceeded the prepandemic levels of 2019. At the journal, we were quite busy as the number of submissions remained at historically high levels. I thank all of the authors who submitted their work to the journal for consideration for publication. I especially thank the editors, members of the editorial board, peer reviewers (listed in the JAMA Otolaryngology –Head& Neck Surgery peer reviewers list), and the outstanding JAMA Network publication staff for their continued hard work and dedication to the journal.
