Malnutrition prevalence in patients older than 7 years at vicente corral moscoso hospital cuenca-ecuador: nutritionday 2019

Rationale: Hospital malnutrition represents a global health problem. It is associated with increased complications, morbidity and mortality, hospital stay days, and costs. nutritionDay (nDay) is a project to fight against hospital malnutrition. It is an audit carried out simultaneously in all participating countries on a single day, using standard questionnaires that generate a national report. Aim: To identify the nutritional status of hospitalized patients older than 7 years and the characteristics of nutrient intake through the nDay data from an Ecuadorian hospital.
