​Cambridge company says parents should be screened for genetic muscular disorder

Cambridge-based genetics company Good Start Genetics Inc. said that a large percentage of parents are believed to be carriers of the genetic mutation behind spinal muscular atrophy, findings the company hopes encourage organizations to add the disease to suggested screenings.
