CDC: Advisory Committee to the Director (ACD), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Advisory Committee to the Director (ACD) will hold a virtual public meeting on November 2-3, 2022. ACD advises the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and the Director of the CDC on policies and strategies that will enable the CDC to fulfill its mission of protecting health through health promotion, prevention, and preparedness. Agenda items will include discussions on CDC's current and future work in data modernization, laboratory quality, and health equity. ACD will also have presentations on the COVID-19 and Monkeypox responses, social determinants of health, and CDC'sMoving Forward initiative.
