Dedication

We dedicate this issue of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics of North America to the memory of Dr Daniel Laskin. Dr Laskin was internationally renowned in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was the consummate educator, who taught those around him to be dedicated to our profession and to the patients for whom we care. Dr Laskin believed that each of us should be committed to serving as a mentor to those we teach while being committed to lifelong learning within our specialty.
