Pre-licensure nursing programs have benchmarks that students must achieve before graduating. Many pre-licensure nursing programs integrate simulation activities that reinforce theoretical content and help measure the attainment of those benchmarks throughout curricula. The overall goal is to graduate competent nurses who can safely manage complex health problems.
