Clinical Significance of Shear Wave Ultrasound Elastography in Patients With Idiopathic Adhesive Capsulitis: Can It Be Used Instead of Magnetic Resonance Imaging as an Early Indicator?

The aim of this study was to evaluate the elasticity of the supraspinatus (SSp) and infraspinatus (ISp) tendons and coracohumeral ligament (CHL), as well as the thickness of CHL in patients diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis (AC) using ultrasound (US) and 2D shear wave elastography (2D-SWE), determining their contributions to diagnosis and stage differentiation.
