Thread Starter medicine abroad in europe Follow 2 hours ago 2h ago about to start in a medical skl outside the uk. heard mixed reviews abt studying in Eastern European countries for med. ive been researching abt the course and saw thats its 6 year long. the 6th year counts as a FY1. would u be able to come back to the uk after graduating and continue into f2? Ive heard that the med students in Bulgarian unis dont get taught abt some aspects the same as uk unis like doing cannulas or venipunctures- and this is pretty big for an f1 and 2, as the Bulgarian unis are more science heavy so here are the few options I was wondering whether its possible or not?: -would u have to do fy1 all over again in the uk after graduating, -or be able to do ur 6th year electives with some placements in the uk to learn these skills, -or throughout ur time at the Bulgarian uni, have some placements or electives (not sure exactly what its...
