Best Buy to expand hearing aid sales after government relaxes rules
Best Buy announced it will expand its presence in the hearing technology category this fall after a Food and Drug Administration ruling on Tuesday establishing a new category of over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids and enabling consumers to buy hearing aids directly without the need for a medical exam, prescription or a fitting appointment with an audiologist.
