Modified Retroperitoneoscope Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection for a Non-seminomatous Testicular Tumour- a Video Vignette

Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection is the main treatment strategy for non-seminomatous testicular tumour1, which could be performed by transperitoneal laparoscopy or retroperitoneal laparoscopy. Compared with transperitoneal laparoscopy, the retroperitoneal approach has an advantage of minimally invasion2, while it has not been widely used. The main reason may be that the retroperitoneal approach is more complex and lack of standard steps. In this video, we describe an modified technique which could help to better understand and carry out the operation.
