Immediate effect of standing and sit-to-stand training on postural vertical for backward disequilibrium following stroke: a case report
CONCLUSION: Standing and sit-to-stand/stand-to-sit training aimed at shifting center of gravity and subjective postural vertical in the anterior direction appeared to improve backward disequilibrium and correct tilt to the anterior direction for this participant. Effectiveness of virtual reality-based rehabilitation versus conventional therapy on upper limb motor function of chronic stroke patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Conclusions: The upper limb motor function of patients with chronic stroke who underwent VR-based rehabilitative intervention showed significant improvement as compared to the pre-treatment state. Action observation training and brain-computer interface controlled functional electrical stimulation enhance upper extremity performance and cortical activation in patients with stroke: a randomized controlled trial.
CONCLUSIONS: This study demonstrated that AOT plus BCI-FES can enhance motor function of upper extremity and cortical activation in patients with stroke. This training method may be feasible and suitable for individuals with stroke. PMID: 33026895 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
