Cardiovascular effects of dexmedetomidine, with or without MK ‐467, following intravenous administration in cats
Conclusion and clinical relevanceFollowing IV co‐administration, MK‐467 effectively attenuated dexmedetomidine‐induced cardiovascular effects in cats. The drug combination resulted in transient reduction in arterial blood pressure, without causing hypotension.

Electrical velocimetry for noninvasive cardiac output and stroke volume variation measurements in dogs undergoing cardiovascular surgery
Conclusions and clinical relevanceIn dogs undergoing cardiovascular surgery, EV provided accurate CO measurements compared with CIPAC, although its trending ability was poor. Further, SVV by EV, but not CVP, reliably predicted fluid responsiveness during mechanical ventilation in dogs.
