Quality of acute stroke care in a regional Victorian hospital, Australia.
CONCLUSION: The timeliness of brain imaging and thrombolysis was comparable in the study hospital to that of the national standard, while other stroke management indicators still require improvement. The distribution and pattern of neurological disease in a neurology clinic in Ile-Ife, Nigeria
Conclusion: Epilepsy and stroke are the commonest neurological disorders in the outpatient setting and there should be more studies in the community on their prevalence and impact.

Duplex ultrasound: Indications and findings in a newly created facility at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar
Conclusion: Duplex ultrasound has been shown to diagnose varied vascular pathologies even in a locale where it is a relatively new technique. It is recommended that timely referrals be made, and mobile Doppler units be acquired to save more lives and limbs in the developing world.
