Neurostimulation for cognitive rehabilitation in stroke (NeuroCog): study protocol for a randomized controlled trial
This study is a double-blind, sham-controlled clinical trial aiming to compare the long-term effects of stimulation in two different cognitive regions after a stroke.Methods/DesignSixty patients who suffer from chronic strokes will be randomized into one of four groups: dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, cingulo-opercular network, motor primary cortex and sham stimulation. Functional rehabilitation of upper limb apraxia in poststroke patients: study protocol for a randomized controlled trial
This study will use a two-arm, assessor-blinded, parallel, randomized controlled trial design, involving 40 patients who present a left- or right-sided unilateral vascular lesion poststroke and a clinical diagnosis of upper limb apraxia.
