Unusual course of the vagus nerve passing anterior to the internal carotid artery during carotid endarterectomy
CONCLUSION: We should be careful not to accidentally cut off because the variation of the vagus nerve can be mistaken for an ansa cervicalis. A delicate and complete dissection to understand the variation of the vagus nerve is crucial to minimize the risk of cranial nerve injury during CEA.PMID:34221609 | PMC:PMC8247674 | DOI:10.25259/SNI_216_2021

The claw sign predicts first-pass effect in mechanical thrombectomy for cerebral large vessel occlusion in the anterior circulation
CONCLUSION: The claw sign is an angiographic imaging factor that might predict FPE after MT for anterior circulation acute ischemic stroke.PMID:35242438 | PMC:PMC8888293 | DOI:10.25259/SNI_1160_2021

Remote neuro-endovascular consultation using a secure telemedicine system: A feasibility study
CONCLUSION: A remote consultation system with real-time audio-visual capability may play an important role in acute stroke management and maintain the quality of patient care under COVID-19 conditions.PMID:35242413 | PMC:PMC8888291 | DOI:10.25259/SNI_1165_2021
