Intracranial hemorrhage in large vessel occlusion patients receiving endovascular thrombectomy with or without intravenous alteplase: a secondary analysis of the DIRECT-MT trial
Conclusions Our data showed that in the DIRECT-MT trial, alteplase did not increase overall ICH for large vessel occlusion patients treated with thrombectomy, but it increased the parenchymal hematoma rate.

ConclusionsIn this case series performed over a 10-year period at a high-volume stroke center we show that CAS is safe and efficient in patients with SyNC. Previous studies have established safety and effectiveness of CES in patients presenting with SyNC, however there is a paucity of reports in the literature regarding the effect of CAS in this patient population. E-113 Lower low-density lipoprotein level increases the risk of delayed parenchymal hematoma following endovascular thrombectomy
ConclusionLDL level <50 mg/dL independently predicted delayed PH following thrombectomy and LDL >100 was shown to be a protective factor, irrespective of statin use. Prediction of death after endovascular thrombectomy in the extended window: a secondary analysis of DEFUSE 3 "
Conclusions Despite selective inclusion criteria and overwhelming benefit for EVT, a substantial number of EVT patients in DEFUSE 3 died. The preprocedural variables age, NIHSS, wake-up stroke, and diabetes may predict this risk. Our predictive score provides a basis for future research to determine which factors influence lethal outcome after EVT.

P-016 Relationship between stroke recurrence, infarct pattern, and vascular distribution in patients with symptomatic intracranial stenosis
Conclusion We determined that basilar artery stenosis was most likely to present as a perforator stroke. As expected, patients discharged with suboptimal medical therapy were twice as likely to have a recurrent stroke (29% versus 13%). Among patients with optimal medical therapy, no recurrent strokes were seen in patients with embolic infarct pattern, while 57% recurrence rate was seen in patients with a watershed infarct pattern, suggesting that an embolic infarct pattern on initial presentation is possibly related to underlying plaque instability that is modifiable with optimal medical therapy. Safety, immediate and mid-term results of the newer generation of hydrogel coils in the treatment of ruptured aneurysms: a multicenter study
Conclusions Our data show that the use of the newer-generation hydrogel coils in the treatment of ruptured aneurysms is feasible, safe and effective with high immediate and mid-term occlusion rates and low morbidity.

Lesion location, stability, and pretreatment management: factors affecting outcomes of endovascular treatment for vertebrobasilar atherosclerosis
Conclusions Endovascular treatment of symptomatic vertebrobasilar atherosclerosis can be performed safely and with good outcomes. Technical results were better for those with extracranial disease while clinical outcomes were more favorable in those patients with non-progressive symptoms in the subacute period and those receiving statin therapy.

E-027 Intracranial Stenting for Patients whom have Failed Medical Therapy: A Single Center Sub-analysis of the VISSIT Trial
Conclusion In this small subgroup of the VISSIT Trial, Intracranial stenting is superior to medical therapy alone in patients whom have previously failed medical therapy.
