Post-stroke gait training practices in a low resource setting: A cross-sectional survey among Indian physiotherapists
CONCLUSION: The findings of the study point toward a lack of evidence-based practice among Indian physiotherapists while training gait after stroke. Effects of aerobic cycling training on mobility and functionality of acute stroke subjects: A randomized clinical trial.

Effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions in brain plasticity, balance and functional ability in acute stroke survivors: A randomized controlled trial.

Robot-assisted gait training promotes brain reorganization after stroke: A randomized controlled pilot study.
CONCLUSIONS: Our findings indicate that RAGT can facilitate reorganization in the intact superior temporal, cingulate, and postcentral gyri. Self-perceived functioning and disability after randomized conventional and electromechanically-assisted gait training in subacute stroke: a 6 months follow-up.
CONCLUSIONS: This study indicates that EAGT and conventional gait training in the subacute stage after stroke have no differential impact on self-perceived functioning, disability and recovery at 6 months after stroke. Further, the study highlights the importance of interventions targeting ADL and self-care independence during stroke rehabilitation to enhance self-perceived recovery and clinical aspects to be targeted to enhance perceived mobility. Effectiveness of home-based carer-assisted in comparison to hospital-based therapist-delivered therapy for people with stroke: A randomised controlled trial.

Effectiveness of somatosensory interventions on somatosensory, motor and functional outcomes in the upper limb post-stroke: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: To date, there is moderate evidence suggesting active somatosensory interventions having a beneficial effect on upper limb impairment and very low quality evidence suggesting passive somatosensory interventions improving upper limb light touch sensation. Gait training with Hybrid Assistive Limb enhances the gait functions in subacute stroke patients: A pilot study.

What is current practice for upper limb rehabilitation in the acute hospital setting following stroke? A systematic review.
CONCLUSIONS: A small proportion of total PT and OT time is directed to the involved UL during acute rehabilitation. Given the evidence for early and intense rehabilitation, there is a need to explore the reasons for this low intensity of UL therapy in the acute stage post-stroke.
