Dabigatran Versus Warfarin in Relation to Renal Function in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation
The pivotal RE-LY (Randomized Evaluation of Long-Term Anticoagulation Therapy) trial demonstrated that dabigatran (150 mg twice daily) was superior to warfarin in reducing thromboembolism with a similar risk of major bleeding (1).
