P-017 Triple therapy versus dual antiplatelet therapy for dolichoectatic vertebrobasilar fusiform aneurysms treated with flow-diverters: the last frontier?
ConclusionsPatients with dolichoectatic VBFAs treated with flow-diversion and kept under triple therapy had less ischemic strokes, less progression of symptoms and overall better outcomes at last follow-up than similar patients kept under DAPT.Disclosures A. E-060 Analysis of reported adverse events of flow-diverter stents for intracranial aneurysms using the FDA MAUDE database
ConclusionsPost-market surveillance is an important to guide patient counselling and identify adverse events and device problems that were not identified in initial trials. Although there are inherent limitations to the MAUDE database, our results highlight some important PR and DR complications that can help optimize patient counseling and management.Disclosures M. E-182 A multicentric experience for the use of flow diverter in the treatment of anterior communicating artery aneurysms
ConclusionFlow diverters appear to be a safe and effective treatment for anterior communicating artery aneurysms, presenting as an alternative strategy in the armamentarium of interventionalist. Mid-term results were favorable, and complication rates were low. Additional studies with longer follow-up time and independent adjudication are warranted to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the technique.Disclosures V. Benalia: None. G. Cortez: None. N. Anticoagulation and Antiplatelet Therapy for Prevention of Venous and Arterial Thrombotic Events in Critically Ill Patients with COVID-19: COVID-PACT
Conclusions: In critically-ill patients with COVID-19, full-dose anticoagulation, but not clopidogrel, reduced thrombotic complications with an increase in bleeding, driven primarily by transfusions in hemodynamically stable patients, and no apparent excess in mortality.PMID:36036760 | DOI:10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.122.061533

Andexanet Alfa and its Clinical Application
Heart Int. 2020 Jun 19;14(1):20-23. doi: 10.17925/HI.2020.14.1.20. eCollection 2020.ABSTRACTFactor Xa (FXa) inhibitors are widely used for stroke prevention in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation, and for the treatment and prevention of deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Compared with warfarin, individual FXa inhibitors are associated with a lower risk of major bleeding. Nevertheless, bleeding remains a feared complication of any anticoagulant therapy. Despite their demonstrated safety, implementation of FXa inhibitors in clinical practice may have been limited by the lack of a specific antidote. Rece...
