Cerebrovascular radiological features of COVID-19 positive patients
CONCLUSIONS: Cerebrovascular diseases, which may cause severe disability and even threaten the patient's life, should be kept in mind, especially in COVID-19 patients who present with neurological symptoms.PMID:36066171 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202208_29535

Low level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol is related with increased hemorrhagic transformation after acute ischemic cerebral infarction.
CONCLUSIONS: Low level of LDL is likely associated with increased HT after acute ischemic infarct, so for those patients with low level of LDL, high scores of NIHSS and cardioembolic infarction at admission, aggressive lipid- lowering treatment should be prescribed cautiously to prevent the incidence of HT. Effects of IL-1 β on hippocampus cell apoptosis and learning ability of vascular dementia rats.
CONCLUSIONS: IL-1β can delay VD occurrence and development through the P38-MAPK signaling pathway to regulate cell apoptosis and improve learning ability. PMID: 30280789 [PubMed - in process]

Interaction between miRNA-155 targeting neuronal pacemaker ion channels and release of amino acid transmitters during cerebral ischemia
CONCLUSIONS: miRNA-155 is increased in cerebral ischemia. Regulation of miRNA-155 expression can target neuronal pacing ion channel HCN channel to regulate the release of amino acid transmitters, thereby alleviating the progress of cerebral ischemia.PMID:33877664 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202104_25554

The clinical study on the treatment for acute cerebral infarction by intra-arterial thrombolysis combined with mild hypothermia.
CONCLUSIONS: Treatment of patients suffering from acute cerebral infarction by means of intra-arterial thrombolysis in combination with mild hypothermia can result in reduced risk of hemorrhagic transformation and improve clinical outcome. PMID: 28485774 [PubMed - in process]

Clinical study on the early application and ideal dosage of urokinase after surgery for hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.
CONCLUSIONS: CT-guided stereotactic intubation of the hematoma combined with dissolution using urokinase is effective for eliminating the hematoma for treatment of HICH with few complications. For recovery of neurological functions and improvement of regular life skills, it is considered to be associated with decreases in the serum levels of MMP-9 and NSE. Rescue stenting after the failure of intravenous thrombolysis and bridging thrombolysis: an initial Vietnamese report
CONCLUSIONS: Rescue stenting appears to represent an additional therapeutic option in cases that fail to resolve with IV alteplase, which may improve clinical outcomes.PMID:36591828 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202212_30667
