Homoeopathic Concept of Remedy Relationship And Its Utility in Management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome: A Case Report
Adv Mind Body Med. 2023 Winter;37(1):17-21.ABSTRACTPolycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a common lifestyle disorder that has become a major international public health concern affecting young women of reproductive age. Homeopathy aims to provide an individual with optimal health on all levels-emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. Homeopathy's goal is to promote an individual's overall well-being rather than just treat symptoms. Dr. Boenninghausen's unique contribution to the promotion of scientific prescribing in homeopathic practice is the concept of remedy relationship and its reportorial analysis. Homeopathy takes...

Homeopathy for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
CONCLUSIONS: The results for the outcomes assessed in this review are uncertain. Thus no firm conclusions regarding the effectiveness and safety of homeopathy for the treatment of IBS can be drawn. Further high quality, adequately powered RCTs are required to assess the efficacy and safety of clinical and individualised homeopathy for IBS compared to placebo or usual care. Motivations of patients seeking supportive care for cancer from physicians  prescribing homeopathic or conventional medicines: results of an observational cross-sectional study.

Prevalence and likelihood ratio of symptoms in patients with good therapeutic response to Lycopodium clavatum. A retrospective study.
CONCLUSIONS: Lycopodium's main symptoms are well known by homeopaths, but their knowledge correlates well with the symptoms' prevalence and not with their LR. Retrospective assessment of prevalence and LR of symptoms in good responders might be a means for better selection of symptoms for prospective studies. PMID: 26828001 [PubMed - in process]

Homeopathy for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
CONCLUSIONS: A pooled analysis of two small studies suggests a possible benefit for clinical homeopathy, using the remedy asafoetida, over placebo for people with constipation-predominant IBS. These results should be interpreted with caution due to the low quality of reporting in these trials, high or unknown risk of bias, short-term follow-up, and sparse data. One small study found no statistically difference between individualised homeopathy and usual care (defined as high doses of dicyclomine hydrochloride, faecal bulking agents and diet sheets advising a high fibre diet). No conclusions can be drawn from this study due...
