Breast Cancer Detection using Crow Search Optimization based Intuitionistic Fuzzy Clustering with Neighborhood Attraction
Conclusion: The experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed method proves to be encouraging for detection of masses. Thus, it provides a better assistance to the radiologists in diagnosing breast cancer at an early stage. PMID: 30678427 [PubMed - in process]

Lung Cancer Detection using Probabilistic Neural Network with modified Crow-Search Algorithm.
CONCLUSION: The
strategy for the selection of appropriate extracted features is employed to improve the efficiency of classification and
the work shows that the PNN with CCSA based feature selection gives an improved classification than without using
CCSA for feature selection. PMID: 31350980 [PubMed - in process]

In Search for a Common Pathway for Health Issues in Men - the Sign of a Holmesian Deduction.
Authors: Aoun F, Albisinni S, Chemaly AK, Zanaty M, Roumeguere T Abstract The evidence for the existence of a common pathway for health issues in men is presented in this review. Several epidemiological studies have shown that conditions like cardiovascular diseases (CVD), metabolic syndrome, diabetes, lower urinary tract symptom (LUTS), erectile dysfunction (ED), prostate cancer, hypogonadism, depression and suicide can be associated as risk factors for each other. Thus, the risk of CVD is significantly increased in men with metabolic syndrome, ED, hypogonadism, prostate cancer and/or LUTS. In addition, the above ...

Breast Cancer Risk From Modifiable and Non-Modifiable Risk Factors among Palestinian Women: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The most significant predictors of BC in Palestine were DM, hypertension, passive smokers, age (>40), reached menopause, and family history of BC. Almost all these risk factors are consistent with known risk factors for breast cancer in other parts of the world.
.PMID:34319018 | DOI:10.31557/APJCP.2021.22.7.1987
