Efficacy of scalp acupuncture combined with conventional therapy in the intervention of post-stroke depression: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: While the effectiveness of SA combined with CT in treating PSD still requires further validation through rigorous randomized double-blind trials, this study provides a comprehensive collection of studies that meet the criteria for SA combined with CT in PSD treatment. It objectively and systematically evaluated the impact of SA combined with CT on PSD. Consequently, the findings of this study hold certain clinical significance.PMID:37619716 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctim.2023.102975

Predictive Model for PICC Occlusion Risk for Patients in Intensive Care Units: A Retrospective Clinical Study
CONCLUSIONS: Age ≥65 years, BMI ≥24 kg/m2, diabetes, malignant tumors, blood transfusions, and intravenous nutrition were independent risk factors for PICC occlusion, while the frequency of flushing and sealing pipe (Q8h) was a protective factor. This prediction model had an outstanding ability to discriminate in identifying patients with a high-risk of PICC occlusion in the ICU.PMID:37573601

Long-Term Outcomes After Stenting in Extracranial vs. Intracranial Stenosis
CONCLUSIONS: The study results showed that there was no significant difference in the safety and effectiveness after stenting in extracranial and intracranial vertebral artery stenosis, but intracranial vertebral artery stenosis has a low rate of symptomatic restenosis. Symptomatic restenosis may be an important problem that limits the efficacy of extracranial vertebral artery stenting.PMID:37573598
