Untreated symptomatic high-grade aortic stenosis remains a lethal disease. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation is necessary to obtain the best individual treatment for each patient. Recently, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) was developed as an innovative therapy for high-risk and inoperable patients.
