Prognostic importance of nutritional assessment in patients with acute ischemic stroke undergoing endovascular thrombectomy
CONCLUSIONS: A higher CONUT score, calculated easily by simple scoring with parameters studied from peripheral blood before the EVT procedure, is an independent predictor of in-hospital, 1-year, and 3-years all-cause mortality.PMID:36808342 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202302_31189

Use of CHA2DS2-VASc score to predict the risk of ischemic stroke and mortality in patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting surgery: a retrospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: Ischemic stroke was associated with a higher mortality risk after CABG. Higher CHA2DS2-VASc scores were associated with higher ischemic stroke risk. POAF did not significantly affect the relationship between CHA2DS2-VASc scores and ischemic stroke. CHA2DS2-VASc score can be used to predict ischemic stroke and mortality following CABG.PMID:36734704 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202301_31062
