Intracranial hematoma following ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysms: risk factors, outcome, and prognostic factors after management of coiling first
Conclusion A posterior orientation of ruptured AcomA aneurysms was associated with the incidence of ICHs. Coiling first with surgical management if necessary seems to be an acceptable treatment for ruptured AcomA aneurysms with ICHs. The clinical outcome was associated with the clinical neurological status on admission.

Basilar artery trunk aneurysm: clinical and angiographic outcomes of endovascular treatment
Conclusions EVT might be a feasible option for this rare disease entity. Unfavorable angiographic outcome might be expected in a large/giant aneurysm or a long lesion. It can be difficult to treat BA trunk aneurysms by EVT, needing multiple procedures or various techniques due to diverse clinical and angiographic features.

Endovascular treatment of vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms : a 20-year institutional experience
Conclusion Endovascular FDD treatment of VADAs appears to be associated with lower retreatment and complication rates than stenting/coiling, although further study is required for confirmation. Endovascular treatment of unruptured VADAs was safe and was associated with favorable angiographic and neurological outcomes.

Periprocedural safety of saccular aneurysm embolization with the Penumbra SMART Coil System: a SMART registry subset analysis
Conclusion The low rates of thromboembolic complications and RRP events demonstrate the adequate safety profile of the SMART Coil System to treat cerebral aneurysms in routine clinical practice. Trial registration number NCT02729740.

Immediate post-operative aneurysm occlusion after endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms with coiling or balloon-assisted coiling in a prospective multicenter cohort of 1189 patients: Analysis of Recanalization after Endovascular Treatment of intracranial Aneurysm (ARETA) Study
Conclusions Immediately after aneurysm coiling, including BAC, adequate aneurysm occlusion was obtained in 92.2%. Age <70 years, aneurysm size <10 mm, and narrow neck were factors associated with adequate occlusion. Trial registration number NCT01942512, http://www.clinicaltrials.gov.

E-035 Safety and Efficacy of Stent-Assisted Coiling of Ruptured Wide Neck Aneurysms in Comparison to Balloon Assisted Coiling in Acute Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
ConclusionIn this study, we observed that SAC is as safe as BAC for acute treatment of RWA, with better aneurysm occlusion rates, less re-treatment and without an increase in hemorrhagic complications. Single-stage endovascular treatment of multiple intracranial aneurysms with combined endovascular techniques: is it safe to treat all at once?
Conclusions Single-stage endovascular treatment of multiple aneurysms with combined endovascular techniques is technically feasible and increases the treatment possibility of all detected aneurysms. However, the safety of the procedure is controversial due to relatively high complication rates. In particular, in patients with bilateral internal carotid artery aneurysms, staged therapy may be used instead of simultaneous treatment with flow diverters to avoid thromboembolic events.

Efficacy of endovascular treatment and feasibility of stent-assisted coiling in the presence of severe and symptomatic vasospasm
Conclusions Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms during severe and symptomatic vasospasm is safe and effective. Stent-assisted coiling in the presence of severe vasospasm is also feasible in wide-necked aneurysms with the additional benefits of mechanical vasodilation.

Initial experience with SOFIA as an intermediate catheter in mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke
Conclusions Mechanical and aspiration thrombectomy with SOFIA is safe and effective with high revascularization rates. Its trackability, stability, and luminal size make SOFIA suitable for stroke intervention.

Stroke prevention by endovascular treatment of carotid and vertebral artery dissections
Conclusions Patients with CAD and VAD differ significantly in presentation, indications for treatment, and treatment methods. Endovascular treatment of CAD and VAD has low procedural morbidity and is associated with a low incidence of future stroke.

E-027 Matricidal cavernous aneurysms: a multicenter case series
Conclusion Matricidal aneurysms require careful consideration and planning. The restricted anatomy of the cavernous sinus can make successful execution of endovascular interventions difficult. Direct elastic compression of the parent artery does not respond to angioplasty and stenting the way that atherosclerotic stenosis does. Because of this, planning for possible parent vessel sacrifice is important.
