S1PR3, as a Core Protein Related to Ischemic Stroke, is Involved in the Regulation of Blood –Brain Barrier Damage
Conclusion: S1PR3 participates in the regulation of blood–brain barrier damage after cerebral I/R. S1PR3 is expected to be an indicator and predictor of cerebral ischemia, and drugs targeting S1PR3 may also provide new ideas for clinical medications.

Preclinical Evaluation of Fingolimod in Rodent Models of Stroke With Age or Atherosclerosis as Comorbidities
This study used a rigorous study design in normal male C57BL/6JOlaHsd mice and in mice with common stroke comorbidities to further evaluate the translational potential of fingolimod. Efficacy and safety of LongShengZhi capsule on functional recovery after acute ischemic stroke (LONGAN): Protocol and statistical analysis plan for a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial
Conclusion: This study will be the first randomized, double-blind trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of LSZ capsule in patients with AIS. In order to improve the transparency and reproducibility of the trial, the data will be analyzed in accordance with this pre-specified plan for statistical analysis to reduce bias due to selective analysis and reporting. This trial aims to provide high-quality evidence for the efficacy and safety of LSZ capsule for AIS.

Medication non-adherence and associated factors among older adult stroke survivors in China
Conclusion: The present study found that patient medication adherence among older adult stroke survivors in China is problematic and associated with educational levels, total prescribed drugs per day, beliefs about medication, and health literacy scores. This indicates that measures should be taken to enhance medication adherence among such higher-risk populations.

Personalized antiplatelet therapy guided by clopidogrel pharmacogenomics in acute ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attack: A prospective, randomized controlled trial

Research trends and hotspots of post-stroke cognitive impairment: A bibliometric analysis
Conclusions: This review provided a comprehensive summary of the literature of PSCI, identified the authoritative and frequently cited literature and journals, clarified the trends in PSCI research, and highlighted the hotspots in this field. Currently, studies on the mechanisms and treatment of PSCI are limited, and we hope that this review has effectively highlighted the research trajectory of PSCI and will lay the foundation for more innovative research in the future.

Efficacy and safety of inclisiran in stroke or cerebrovascular disease prevention: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Conclusion: Inclisiran is not beneficial for stroke or MACE prevention in ASCVD or patients at high risk of ASCVD but is associated with the reduction of MI. Given the limited number and quality of the available studies and the lack of a standardized definition for cardiovascular events, further studies are essential for confirming the results.

Efficacy and Safety of NaoShuanTong Capsule in the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke: A Meta-Analysis
Conclusions: The results of this meta-analysis showed that NSTC exhibits efficacy in the treatment of cerebral infarction. NSTC can improve the overall response rate and neurological function, increase blood adiponectin, reduce neurological deficits, and decrease atherosclerotic plaque area.

Cost-Utility Analysis of Incobotulinumtoxin-A Compared With Conventional Therapy in the Management of Post-Stroke Spasticity in Romania
Conclusions: This therapy should be taken into account when considering rehabilitation options because it is highly cost-effective at < EURO 1,000/QALY gained, a very low WTP (Willingness To Pay) threshold. INCO proved to be a disruptive innovation because it is a new and more effective treatment, and, in the end, much higher in quality of life for patients with post-stroke upper limb spasticity.

Anticoagulation Resumption in a Patient With Mechanical Heart Valves, Antithrombin Deficiency, and Hemorrhagic Transformation Following Thrombectomy After Ischemic Stroke
This study is the first report of administering argatroban and titrating to its appropriate dose in the patient with valve thrombosis, antithrombin deficiency, and HT after mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke. Notably, the fluctuations argatroban brings to the coagulation test results might not be interpreted as increased bleeding risk. This case also suggested that the reported timing (day 6 to day 14 after hemorrhage) of anticoagulant resumption in primary intracerebral hemorrhage with mechanical valves might be late for some patients with HT.
