Study on the Correlation between different Levels of Patients with Vertebrobasilar Dolichoectasia and Posterior Circulation Blood Perfusion
This study investigates the differences and changing trend of posterior circulation blood perfusion between different levels of vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia(VBD) patients. The relationship between the deviation of the basilar artery(BA) in different directions and the location of pontine infarction are also investigated.

The Predictive Accuracy of the Delayed Spot Sign for Haematoma Expansion in Spontaneous Supratentorial Intracerebral Haemorrhage: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Previous studies have shown that spot signs on imaging modalities such as CT perfusion, delayed phase CTA or post contrast CT imaging reportedly have greater ability to predict haematoma expansion (HE) than the traditional CT angiography spot sign. We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis of the diagnostic accuracy of the spot sign on delayed imaging modalities in predicting haematoma expansion.Pubmed, Excerpta Medica Database, and the Cochrane library were searched on the 11 November 2019.

Outcomes of Medical Management Alone for Adult Patients with Cerebral Misery Perfusion Due to Ischemic Moyamoya Disease
Although revascularization surgery is recommended for adult patients with moyamoya disease (MMD) who present with ischemic symptoms due to hemodynamic compromise, the clinical course of such patients who are treated with medical management alone remains unclear. Here, we report outcomes of adult patients with cerebral misery perfusion due to ischemic MMD who received medical management alone.

Radiographic risk factors for intracranial hemorrhage in patients with left ventricular assist devices
Patients with end-stage cardiomyopathy may require the use of mechanical circulatory support to maintain perfusion of the vital organs. This is most commonly achieved using an implantable left ventricular assist device (LVAD), typically used as a bridge to orthotopic heart transplant (BTT) or as destination therapy (DT) for those who are not transplant candidates. An LVAD is usually considered for those patients whose disease and symptoms meet INTERMACS Levels 2-4 criteria, indicating a significant decrease in functionality.

Prediction of cerebral hyperperfusion following carotid endarterectomy using intravoxel incoherent motion magnetic resonance imaging
One of the risk factors for cerebral hyperperfusion following carotid endarterectomy (CEA) is a chronic reduction in cerebral perfusion pressure due to internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis, which is clinically detected as increased cerebral blood volume (CBV). The perfusion fraction (f) is one of the intra-voxel incoherent motion (IVIM) parameters obtained using magnetic resonance (MR) imaging that theoretically reflects CBV. The present study aimed to determine whether preoperative IVIM-f on MR imaging predicts development of cerebral hyperperfusion following CEA.

Cerebral ischemia ‒reperfusion injury (CIRI) refers to the phenomenon that structural damage and dysfunction of the brain are further aggravated when blood perfusion is restored after cerebral ischemia for a certain time, which mainly causes apoptosis or necrosis of nerve cells.1 CIRI will result in severe cognitiv e and motor dysfunction.2,3 The current treatments are mainly thrombolysis, intervention, nutritional nerve, and rehabilitation training, but they cannot completely restore the neurological function of patients.

The charlotte large artery occlusion endovascular therapy outcome score compares favorably to the critical area perfusion score for prognostication before basilar thrombectomy
Late window endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) trials enrolled patients presenting with an internal carotid artery (ICA) or proximal middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion using computed tomography perfusion (CTP) or magnetic resonance imaging perfusion selection criteria.1,2 Radiographic1 or clinical mismatch2 was required for inclusion in these landmark studies. Although perfusion imaging is not always used for patient selection in early window anterior circulation thrombectomy,3 CTP ischemic core volume is independently associated with functional outcome improvement in the 0-6-hour time window when good endovascular reperfusion is achieved.
