Conclusions: The use of apps put increased responsibility on the person and had the possibility to make them more involved in their own care. Conclusions: Sensory deficit contributes to effects upon physical function, mobility and activity. Clinical outcome measures need to capture the emotional, psychological and social impacts of sensory deficit. Application of upper-limb dynamic pseudoelastic splinting in the treatment of stroke chronic patient: a pilot assessment.

Bimanual wheelchair propulsion by people with severe hemiparesis after stroke.
Conclusions: Individuals with severe arm impairment in the chronic stage of stroke retain sufficient strength and coordination with their paretic arm to manoeuvre bimanual, lever-driven wheelchairs. The feasibility and acceptability of smart home technology using the Howz system for people with stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: The Howz system was feasible and acceptable for stroke survivors. It gave users and their family an enhanced sense of security and peace of mind that help would be at hand if needed. Combining the benefits of tele-rehabilitation and virtual reality-based balance training: a systematic review on feasibility and effectiveness.
CONCLUSIONS: Tele-rehabilitation could be a promising tool to overcome burdens that restrict accessibility to rehabilitation in the future. VR can increase motivation allowing longer and more training sessions in community-dwelling stroke survivors. Therefore, combining the benefits of both approaches seems convenient.
