Transcatheter versus surgical aortic valve replacement in patients at low surgical risk: A meta ‐analysis of randomized trials and propensity score matched observational studies
ConclusionsIn patients who are at low surgical risk, TAVR seems to be associated with increased mortality risk. Until more data in this population is available, SAVR should remain the treatment of choice for these patients.

Supra ‐annular structure assessment for self‐expanding transcatheter heart valve size selection in patients with bicuspid aortic valve
ConclusionsA supra‐annular structure based sizing strategy is feasible for TAVR in patients with bicuspid AS.

Fractional flow reserve guided percutaneous coronary intervention results in reduced ischemic myocardium and improved outcomes
ConclusionCompared with angiography‐guided PCI, FFR‐guided PCI results in less repeat revascularization and a lower incidence of post PCI ischemia translating into improved survival, without an increase in complications.

In ‐hospital outcomes of transcatheter versus surgical aortic valve replacement in non‐teaching hospitals
ConclusionsTAVR conferred similar in ‐hospital mortality and major peri‐procedural complications compared with SAVR in non‐teaching hospitals. For those with limited access to teaching hospitals, non‐teaching hospitals appear to be a reasonable option for candidates of aortic valve replacement for severe aortic stenosis.
