Predictive performance of CHA2DS2-VASc-HS score and Framingham risk scores for coronary disease severity in ischemic heart disease patients with invasive coronary angiography
CONCLUSIONS: Our study demonstrated a high predictive performance of coronary artery injury using the CHA2DS2-VASc-HS score and Framingham risk scores. Low-dose intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator in acute ischemic stroke without large vessel occlusion screened by 3T MRI

The identification of sex-specific biomarkers in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from elderly individuals with ischemic stroke
CONCLUSIONS: Ten genes for each sex with significant differential expression were also identified in individuals with IS. Risk of acute stroke in patients with retinal artery occlusion: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The meta-analysis demonstrated that people with RAO are significantly more likely to get an acute stroke than patients without RAO. In addition, patients with RAO are substantially more likely than those without RAO to develop an acute stroke following an occlusion episode, especially if they are under 75 years old. However, given that only a small number of the studies in our review did not show a clear correlation between the two, we believe more research is required to conclusively link RAO and the prevalence of acute stroke.PMID:37401301 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202306_32803

Hemorrhagic risk factors after rt PA thrombolysis in acute cerebral infarction
CONCLUSIONS: The establishment of a prediction model based on the risk factors of HT after rt-PA thrombolysis had a good predictive value in patients with ACI. This model was helpful in guiding clinical judgment and improving the safety of intravenous thrombolysis. CONCLUSIONS: The current CML treatment target is a cure that leads to normal age and gender-adjusted survival with a "normal" quality of life. Cardiovascular disorders are one of the major obstacles to reaching this target in CML patients. Malnutrition risk in hospitalized patients measured with Nutrition Risk Screening 2002 tool and its association with in-hospital mortality

Association of nutritional indices and prognosis of stroke patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Assessing malnutrition in stroke patients at the time of hospital admission using any of the three nutritional indices is useful due to the observed association of malnutrition with survival and functional outcomes. Clinical outcomes of oral anticoagulant discontinuation in atrial fibrillation: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Discontinuation of OAC therapy was associated with an increased risk of stroke and mortality, with no difference in the risk of major bleeding.
