The influence of COVID-19 on the treatment of patients with acute ischemic stroke: a  retrospective observational study
CONCLUSIONS: The pandemic situation of COVID-19 significantly reduced the number of patients with AIS and prolonged the travel time to the hospital whereas most of the stroke treatment services were maintained.PMID:37587891 | DOI:10.5114/fn.2023.124565

Upregulated lncRNA NORAD can diagnose acute cerebral ischemic stroke patients and predict poor prognosis
CONCLUSIONS: NORAD was upregulated in AIS, which can discriminate AIS patients, and was closely correlated with severe development and poor prognosis of patients.PMID:37114966 | DOI:10.5114/fn.2022.121478

Loss of lncRNA UCA1 ameliorates the injury managed by cerebral ischemia-reperfusion by sponging miR-18a-5p
CONCLUSIONS: Elimination of UCA1 was favourable to the recovery of the rat model and cells from CI/R damage by efficaciously sponging miR-18a-5p.PMID:37114963 | DOI:10.5114/fn.2022.122497
