Incidence, early case fatality and determinants of stroke in Iran: Golestan Cohort Study

Associations Between Adherence to Evidence-Based, Stroke Quality Indicators and Outcomes of Acute Reperfusion Therapy
CONCLUSIONS: We demonstrated national marked and sustainable improvement in adherence to door-to-needle time, door-to-puncture time, and successful reperfusion from 2013 to 2017 in Japan in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Impact of the state of emergency on trends in the care of three major diseases at Showa University Hospital, Japan: a retrospective and descriptive study
CONCLUSIONS: This study showed a long-term decrease in cancer patient visits to Showa University Hospital since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the previous 3 years. The Effect of Chronic Disease Management Program on the Risk of Complications in Patients With Hypertension in Korea
CONCLUSION: The results showed that participants of the chronic disease management program were less likely to have hypertension complications compared to non-participants. Socioeconomic inequalities in prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension: evidence from the PERSIAN cohort study
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of HTN was higher among low-SES individuals, who also showed higher levels of awareness. However, treatment and control of HTN were more concentrated among those who had higher levels of SES, indicating that people at a higher risk of adverse event related to HTN (the low SES individuals) are not benefiting from the advantage of treatment and control of HTN. Contraception knowledge and practices among students in Lebanese universities
This study aimed to evaluate the proportion of contraception users among Lebanese youth, and the extent of knowledge and perception on birth control; and to raise awareness and sensitise young adults to sexual health, which remains taboo in Lebanon. Deep learning-based classification of DSA image sequences of patients with acute ischemic stroke
CONCLUSION: Our deep learning-based approach to thrombus identification in DSA sequences yielded high accuracy on our single-center test data set. External validation is now required to investigate the generalizability of our method.
