Aortic arch thrombosis complicated by an embolic stroke in a patient with COVID-19: A case report
CONCLUSION: Aortic thrombosis is a devastating condition that can be easily missed without clinical suspicion. Our patient developed acute ischemic stroke, most likely embolic originating from the aortic thrombus. The clinician should consider this condition in any COVID-19 patient presenting with thromboembolic events, such as stroke or acute limb ischemia. An Exceptional Clinical Presentation associating an occipital stroke, a Superior and Inferior Mesenteric Thrombosis following Covid 19 disease, case report
CONCLUSION: We discuss through this report the recommendations of anticoagulation in Covid 19 patients and the place of early rehabilitation in patients with stroke. Self-reported efficacy in patient-physician interaction in relation to anxiety, patient activation, and health-related quality of life among stroke survivors
CONCLUSIONS: Higher self-efficacy in patient-physician interaction was associated with higher patient activation and mental health status among stroke survivors using smartwatches. Furthermore, we found no association between anxiety and smartwatch prescription for AF in participants with high self-efficacy in patient-physician interaction. Lateral medullary syndrome: uncommon form of brainstem stroke
