Cardiac damage induced by long term and intensive endurance exercise training in senior athletes: A cardiac magnetic resonance and exercise echocardiography analysis
ConclusionAthletes showed signs of physiological cardiac remodelling, consistent with previous descriptions of athlete's heart. Despite this remodelling, there was no evidence of myocardial fibrosis or exercise ventricular dysfunction in athletes. Our results are not supporting the hypothesis of deleterious cardiac effects induced by long term and intensive endurance exercise training.

Cardiac complications in children with chronic renal: Prevalence of risk factors
ConclusionCardiovascular complications are almost constant in hemodialysis children with chronic renal failure strongly related with left ventricular hypertrophy and arterial hypertension. The high risk of mortality related to these cardiac complications makes it essential to have good control of arterial blood pressure and especially a good observance of treatment and regimen in hemodialysis children.

Comparison of the measurement of the blood pressure in consultation versus home monitoring for the evaluation of the blood pressure targets in the diabetics of type 2
ConclusionIn our series of diabetics of type 2 patients, the comparison of the measurement of BP in consultation against home monitoring for the assessment of the BP targets, found a better evaluation in the home BP monitoring compared to consultation measurement of BP, with a gain of 17% in systolic BP and 12% in diastolic BP. We detected a masked hypertension in 4% of patients.
