Prevalence and associated factors of anger post stroke: a systematic review.
CONCLUSION: There is a high prevalence of anger post stroke. Psychiatric factors have been associated to it, while other associations are less conclusive. To improve anger knowledge and management, it would be necessary to improve its definition and assessment. PMID: 26005071 [PubMed - in process]

Cancer-associated stroke: a study of prevalence and predictors among ischaemic stroke patients
CONCLUSIONS: A high prevalence of systemic cancer, of any type, as well as active and occult, was found among patients with ischaemic stroke. The presence of ischaemic lesions in several vascular territories and some laboratory markers could be factors to consider in attributing the stroke to cancer or looking for an occult neoplasm in some patients.PMID:36908032 | DOI:10.33588/rn.7606.2022414

The impact of neurological and medical complications on the mortality and functional situation of acute stroke patients.
CONCLUSIONS. The appearance of complications during the acute phase of the stroke has an adverse influence on mortality and on the functional prognosis. The identification of predictive factors could reduce the impact upon the progress of acute stroke patients. PMID: 25354505 [PubMed - in process]
