Preferred monotherapy after short-term dual antiplatelet therapy: Systematic review and network meta-analysis of randomized trials
CONCLUSIONS: Compared with aspirin monotherapy following short-term DAPT, ticagrelor following 3-month DAPT was associated with a reduced risk of primary bleeding outcomes without increasing any ischemic outcomes.PMID:37562542 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2023.08.001

Impact of Atherothrombotic risk stratification in patients with heavily calcified lesions following rotational Atherectomy
CONCLUSIONS: Atherothrombotic risk stratification using TRS 2°P was useful in identifying high-risk patients with heavily calcified lesions following RA.PMID:37524300 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2023.07.013

Characteristics and short-term outcomes of outpatient and inpatient cardiac catheterizations: A descriptive study using a nationwide claim database in Japan
CONCLUSIONS: Approximately 5 % of cardiac catheterizations were performed in an outpatient setting. Given the low adverse event risk observed in this study, it may be a reasonable option to widen outpatient cardiac catheterization to include potential populations in Japan, warranting further studies.PMID:37247658 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2023.05.010

Shorter door-to-balloon time, better long-term clinical outcomes in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients: J-MINUET Substudy
CONCLUSION: Shorter DTB time was associated with better long-term clinical outcomes in STEMI patients treated with PPCI in contemporary clinical practice. Further efforts to shorten DTB time are recommended to improve long-term clinical outcomes in STEMI patients.PMID:36736534 | DOI:10.1016/j.jjcc.2023.01.008
