The Effects of Exercise Preconditioning on Cerebral Blood Flow Change and Endothelin-1 Expression after Cerebral Ischemia in Rats
This study indicated that preconditioning exercise protected brain from ischemic injury through the improvement of CBF and regulation of ET-1 expression, which may be a novel component of the neuroprotective mechanism of preischemic treadmill training against brain injury.

High-Intensity Interval Training on Neuroplasticity, Balance between Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor and Precursor Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor in Poststroke Depression Rats
Background: High-intensity interval training (HIIT) improves functional and mental health in the patients with stroke. To investigate the potential mechanisms of HIIT on poststroke depression (PSD). Methods: Wistar rats were randomly divided into control, Sham, PSD, moderate intensity continuous training (MICT), and HIIT groups. After PSD model was successful made, the maximum speed (Smax) and the blood lactate threshold corresponding speed (SLT) were measured. Different intensity training protocols were performed on the MICT and HIIT groups, respectively.

The Effectiveness of Fluidotherapy in Poststroke Complex Regional Pain Syndrome: A Randomized Controlled Study
Objective: To evaluate whether combining fluidotherapy to conventional rehabilitation program provides additional improvements on pain severity, upper extremity functions, and edema volume in patients with poststroke complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Design: Randomized controlled trial. Setting: Training and research hospital. Participants: Thirty hemiplegic patients with subacute stage CRPS type-1 of the upper extremity. Interventions: The patients randomly divided into 2 groups. Both groups received a 3 week conventional rehabilitation program (5days/week, 2-4 hours/day).
