Change in Coefficient of Fatigability Following Rapid, Repetitive Movement Training in Post-Stroke Spastic Paresis: A Prospective Open-Label Observational Study
In post-stroke patients, the possibility of performing an active ankle dorsiflexion movement is favorable for the recovery of gait. Moreover, the fatigue due to repetitive active ankle dorsiflexion could reduce the speed gait. We assessed the change in coefficient of fatigability of active ankle dorsiflexion after a home-based self-rehabilitative procedure in post-stroke patients.

Impact of General Practitioner Transient Ischemic Attack Training on 90-Day Stroke Outcomes: Secondary Analysis of a Cluster Randomized Controlled Trial
Many patients with transient ischemic attack (TIA) receive initial assessments by general practitioners (GPs) who may lack TIA management experience. In a randomized controlled trial (RCT), we showed that electronic decision support for GPs improves patient outcomes and guideline adherence. Some stroke services prefer to improve referrer expertise through TIA/stroke education sessions instead of promoting TIA decision aids or triaging tools. This is a secondary analysis of whether a GP education session influenced TIA management and outcomes.

Effects of Exoskeletal Lower Limb Robot Training on the Activities of Daily Living in Stroke Patients: Retrospective Pre-Post Comparison Using Propensity Score Matched Analysis
There is limited evidence of gait training using newly developed exoskeletal lower limb robot called Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) on the function and ability to perform ADL in stroke patients. In clinical settings, we frequently find it challenging to conduct a randomized controlled trial; thus, a large-scale observational study using propensity score analysis methods is a feasible alternative. The present study aimed to determine whether exoskeletal lower limb robot training improved the ability to perform ADL in stroke patients.

Robot-assisted Gait Training Using Welwalk in Hemiparetic Stroke Patients: An Effectiveness Study with Matched Control
This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of gait training using Welwalk in hemiparetic stroke patients in a real clinical setting. Materials and Methods: This prospective study included 36 hemiparetic stroke patients who underwent gait training using Welwalk. We examined the walking ability improvement efficiency using Functional Independence Measure (FIM)-walk as the primary outcome, which was compared with that of 36 patients (matched control group) who underwent conventional rehabilitation.
