Association Between Atrial High-Rate Episodes and Ischemic/Major Bleeding Events in Patients With a Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device - A 10-Year, Single-Center Historical Cohort Study
CONCLUSIONS: Longer AHRE duration is associated with a high number of major bleeding and ischemic events. Monitoring these bleeding risks is mandatory when clinicians are considering anticoagulation therapy for such patients.PMID:33867407 | DOI:10.1253/circj.CJ-20-1269

Effects of Acute Coronary Syndrome and Stable Coronary Artery Disease on Bleeding and Ischemic Risk After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
CONCLUSIONS: Bleeding risk after PCI depended on both ACS presentation and HBR, with a significant effect of ACS within 30 days.PMID:33907052 | DOI:10.1253/circj.CJ-21-0016

Bare-Metal vs. Drug-Eluting Stents in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.
Conclusions:In real-world patients with AF undergoing PCI, DES use was associated with outcomes comparable to those with BMS without excess bleeding complications. More ST was seen in BMS-treated patients. PMID: 25298168 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

In-Hospital Bleeding and Utility of a Maintenance Dose of Prasugrel 2.5 mg in High Bleeding Risk Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome.
CONCLUSIONS: The maintenance dose of adjusted prasugrel 2.5 mg/day seems to be one option in ACS patients at high bleeding risk. PMID: 29695656 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Application of the Modified High Bleeding Risk Criteria for Japanese Patients in an All-Comers Registry of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention - From the CREDO-Kyoto Registry Cohort-3.
CONCLUSIONS: The J-HBR criteria successfully identified those patients with very high bleeding risk after PCI, who represented 64% of patients in this all-comers registry. PMID: 33298644 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Academic Research Consortium for High Bleeding Risk Definitions for Early, Late, and Very Late Bleeding Events
CONCLUSIONS: The ARC-HBR definition consistently identified patients at risk of long-term bleeding and ischemic events after second-generation DES implantation.PMID:33853992 | DOI:10.1253/circj.CJ-21-0120
