Statin Therapy Does Not Affect the Radiographic and Clinical Profile of Patients with TIA and Minor Stroke EDITOR'S CHOICE
CONCLUSIONS: Prestroke or early-stroke statin therapy was not associated with a reduction in the number of DWI lesions, infarct volume, or improved clinical or functional outcome at 3 months. The effect of acute statin treatment in patients with ischemic stroke/TIA remains unclear and needs further investigation.

Conservative versus aggressive antiplatelet strategy for emergent carotid stenting during stroke thrombectomy
CONCLUSIONS: In this retrospective study, aggressive periprocedural antiplatelet strategy led to improved stent patency and clinical outcomes, without increased HT. Safety and Efficacy of Cangrelor in Acute Stroke Treated with Mechanical Thrombectomy: Endovascular Treatment of Ischemic Stroke Registry and Meta-analysis INTERVENTIONAL
CONCLUSIONS: Cangrelor offers promising safety and efficacy profiles, especially considering the complex endovascular reperfusion procedures in which it is usually applied. Further large prospective data are required to confirm these findings.
